Dubbing - Experience Class with Jack Cox
The main focus of this class is performance, technique, and timing for dubbing. Mock dubbing sessions are dedicated to getting students up to speed for a how a typical dubbing session works. Train with experienced Ocean Studios voice director Jack Cox and learn the basics of dubbing for anime' and other foreign media.
Animation Development L1 - The Process with Lee Tockar
The main focus of this class is character development and delivery for animated/anime series' and movies. Develop your individual process for how you take words a page and develop them into a living, breathing, animated character on screen. This class requires previous training in OTM's Foundations Class or some other equivalent training.
Commercial/Narration Development L2 - The Practice with Noel Johansen
The pre-requisite to this class is Commercial/Narration Development Level 1 - 'The Practice' or the Weekend Intensive Level 1. Using the tools and techniques from the Level 1 class, the focus of this class is to expand your range in the 3 pillars and hone your skills in the 9 states while reading copy, all the while amassing material appropriate for your demo.
Accents Weekend Intensive Workshop with Eliza Jane Schneider
Eliza Jane Schneider teaches Authentic American & International Dialects for Voice Actors/Film Actors/Stage Actors.
Expand your range of characters for animation, film and television as well as your versatility. In this weekend workshop, Eliza teaches a comprehensive technique for approaching and mastering dialects from all over the world.
Animation Audition Workout with Voice-Director James Corrigall
The Audition Workout is designed for students who have professional experience and/or have trained in our Development Program and are looking to hone their skills to be competitive in the professional market. The class includes discussion about the business of voice-over and has a fast-paced work ethic with challenging material.
OTM's Singing Foundations is a course for those looking to improve their singing and/or strengthen their voices; for those new to singing, and for those just lacking confidence; to develop their voices in an informative, supportive, and encouraging studio environment.
Engineering for Voice-actors Weekend Intensive with Devon Quelch
Don't know what equipment and computer programs to use in recording your own auditions? Need help with creating and customizing your home studio set up? Or to trouble shoot the issues you're having in your existing home studio? Learn all of this and more.
Receive instruction from OTM's home studio guru, professional sound engineer, Devon Quelch. He will teach you all the do's and don'ts of home studio recording.
On The Mic Training's Kids & Teens Spring Break Camp is a week-long program, each day from 9-4pm with a 1-hour lunch, that is designed for young performers aged 10-17 and covers the fundamentals of commercial and animation voice-over from kids and teens perspective. In an extremely informative, but most importantly, fun and entertaining exploration, students learn industry expectations and are guided through many scripts and exercises to give them the tools they need to book the role.
Foundations - Booking for April 2017 with Michael Adamthwaite, Nicole Oliver or Sarah Edmondson
On The Mic's Foundations Program allow students who are completely new to voice-over to learn the basics. They will be introduced to the three main areas of voice-over, commercials, animation and narration. Through their experience of the class, they will discover where their strengths and interests lie and receive support in setting up the next steps for their voice-over career.
