Fit Foods is a leading manufacturer of Sports Nutrition Products, and we are currently looking for a Part time Payroll/Benefit Administrator to work three days per week to start; this role will most likely grow to full-time rather quickly.

Payroll Responsibilities:
• Provide high-end customer service to employees regarding their pay and benefit queries
• Process a multi provincial semi-monthly payroll (BC, ON, AB)
• Administrate hourly pay timesheets, calculate any payment of overtime, bonuses, benefits, vacation, terminations, and leave benefits as required; will act as the time and attendance system administrator when the system is fully implemented; Process terminations on ROE Web
• Administer the group benefit plan including new hire set up, employee record maintenance, and status changes
• Processes payment and reconciliation of recurring payroll and benefit accounts and statements Receiver General, WCB, EHT remittance) (process & reconcile statements for: benefit supplier, extended health benefits, gym, MSP, etc.)
• Maintain employee files, & look after tracking of vacation, sick, bank time, and other employee absences
• Process all hiring and termination related documentation, including preparation of ROE's on ROE Web
• Monitor employee's vacation usage, sick hours, and attendance management
• Payroll year-end reconciliation, Pier Review, and T4 processing
• Assist with a time & attendance system implementation
• Performs all other related duties as assigned in a timely manner

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Minimum - Canadian Payroll Association designation Level 1 or higher; or equivalent of education and experience
• 3 plus years' experience working with full cycle payroll & benefit systems; those with experience using Clarity and Kronos software will be preferred
• Must be well organized and pay attention to details
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• Must be self-motivated, with strong leadership, interpersonal skills; strongly analytical with ability to problem solve and organize
• Capability to handle a large volume workload and balance multiple tasks
• Advanced MS Office applications (Excel/Word); experience with Clarity, Business Vision (BV), or SAP would be an asset
