Traveled to Taiwan and was skeptical about borrowing my friends car due that he have asked for me to use 95 octane gasoline, I thought the gas would be ridiculously expensive due that Taiwan does not produce any oil and all would have to be shipped from other places. Got to the gas station and saw the price. The lowest octane is 92. I asked if they had anything lower like 87 octane. The guy laugh at me and ask me what that is. The prices are ridiculously cheap in comparison with our prices. It strikes me knowing that their infrastructure is amazing and they also have a really good health care. So there is no reason for us to pay ridiculous amounts. As you see in the picture Taiwan dollar is about $23 Taiwan to $1 Canadian.
Taiwan
92 octane $21.3 per liter + 0.92 Cents Can
95 octane $28.8 per liter + $1.25 Can
Canada
91 Octane $1.80 Can
87 octane $1.60 Can

We are paying 98 octane prices for 87 octane what a joke. Is there something we can do?
